David P. Wimer, Esquire

David is a principal at Jaconetta, Burnham & Wimer, LLC, concentrating in the areas of business planning and transactions, real estate law, and elder law. David is a graduate of The University of Connecticut School of Law and The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting.

David has five-plus years of experience as an accounting officer for GroupAmerica Insurance Company, the group life and health insurance subsidiary of Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company. Prior to joining Jaconetta, Burnham & Wimer, LLC, David was an associate with Berman, Bourns & Currie, LLC, in West Hartford and O'Brien, Shafner, Stuart, Kelley & Morris, P.C., of Groton. David is currently serving as President and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Connecticut Business and Estate Planning Council. David is a member of the Probate and Real Property Section of the American Bar Association, the Estates and Probate Section and the Elder Law Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Hartford County Bar Association. David lives in Bolton with his wife, Nancy, and has two children, Emily and Evan.
